Long time no cooking, suddenly getting back to it is not bad.

Refer to the previous article "Life Under Community Lockdown" for the background of the story. Unwilling to order takeout, the working people feel that the meals are too expensive and the taste is just average, so they and their partner plan to cook for themselves, ensuring they have enough to eat.

Bought some vegetables, meat, fruits, etc., on Meituan, which can be left at the entrance of the community, reported the door number, and the staff will help deliver them, quite convenient. The only downside is the intermittent rain these days, making it hard for the workers and medical staff who have been constantly sampling nucleic acids. (Just had a nucleic acid test before writing this piece.)

Made a decent meal with simple ingredients, can only be called a meal, not a delicacy, because both of our cooking skills are still improving.

It seems that there were potatoes in several meals, one was sour and spicy shredded potatoes, and the other was regular shredded potatoes, both with a good taste.

Last night, made candied hawthorn with strawberries and hawthorn, boiled the sugar color for a long time, but it ended up as a semi-finished product, quite regrettable.

Then had a hot pot meal, made dumplings with fennel pork filling, the appearance didn't seem too good, but it must be said that fennel is really fragrant.

During the day, when resting from work, took the opportunity to go downstairs to get the Meituan delivery and get some fresh air, stretch the muscles. It's estimated that it will take another two days to finish. Have to say, the nucleic acid tests done these two days are more than the ones I've done in the past two years.
